Susanna Bailey studied painting at Winchester School of Art and then Printmaking as a masters degree at The Slade School of Fine Art in London. Since then she has gained an international reputation as a painter, printmaker and teacher. Susanna Bailey has exhibited nationally and internationally since leaving Art School. Her work has been represented by the Francis Kyle Gallery, The Curwen Gallery, Beaux Arts, and many others. She exhibited etchings in the International Print Biennale in Mexico and video in the Serpentine Gallery in London.

Susanna is known for her use of colour in all mediums. She is perhaps best known for her landscapes in watercolour.

Alongside her own work and private studio, she tutors artists privately and currently teaches at Marlborough College, Wiltshire. She has designed a unique sequence of workshops about colour harmonies which are marketed worldwide by Authentic Adventures, in the form of special interest holidays.
